Juanita Alvarez is the Founder & CEO of Ciph Lab™ and originator of the Intelligence Resources™ function — an enterprise discipline for governed, measurable AI that connects governance, people, and intelligent systems into a single operating layer.
Her career spans legal operations, privacy, and AI governance across Amazon Lab126, Apple, and Okta, working inside high-volume, high-scrutiny environments. There, she saw a recurring pattern: AI and automation efforts rarely failed because of the model — they failed because readiness, ownership, and governance weren’t built to support them.
In response, Juanita began developing tools such as the AI Intelligence Score™, the Fit Filter Rubric™, and the early Ethos Agent™ model to make readiness, oversight, and decision integrity concrete. These prototypes form the backbone of Intelligence Resources™, giving enterprises structured ways to decide what should move forward, who is accountable, and how AI stays aligned over time.
While completing her MBA, she is focused on one throughline: strengthening operational trust. Ciph Lab™ is the vehicle for that work — turning AI governance, legal innovation, and enterprise transformation into something organizations can run, measure, and improve, not just talk about.
